I have a broad range of experience working with clients aged 19 – 66 with a variety of presenting issues such as exam stress, anxiety, depression, isolation, bereavement, suicide ideation, chronic pain, domestic abuse, relationship issues, post-natal depression, decision making and identity issues.
Here I offer private 1 on 1 counselling sessions in my quiet office just off Clapham High St, London. Since September 2017, I have been offering consultations and working with clients who present a variety of issues. Depending on availability, I sometimes have space to see clients who may need to pay a reduced rate due to their financial circumstances, such as being a student or being out of employment. I currently have a few slots available for weekly sessions on Saturdays.
Kingston Carers Network
I offer counselling to Adult Carers on a voluntary basis and often encounter themes of isolation, hopelessness and guilt. Here I stay alongside the client in their times of despair, and offer both a safe and non judgemental space to help them explore their feelings and move towards an acceptance of their situation.
NHS GP Referred Counsellor
I worked independently at a busy NHS GP’s Surgery with patient referrals that encompassed a wide range of presenting problems, such as low mood, depression and anxiety. I offered a goal-oriented brief therapy model to these patients to provide them with a safe space to offload, with a view to reduce their presenting symptoms.
